Class Descriptions

Winter

CHAIR AEROBICS – A form of Aerobics where the participants stay seated in a chair for the duration of the exercise. Targeting those individuals with mobility problems using bands and dumbbells. This class is a great substitute for water aerobics. (Instructor- Patty Codromac)

CIRCUIT ON A SHOE STRING – A class designed to challenge all fitness levels working on strength, agility and cardio endurance in circuit/stations. Class can be taken by all fitness levels. (Instructor – Patty Codromac)


Spring

CARDIO CONDITIONING – a class designed for the beginning to advanced level person who wants to get their cardio workout in by doing step, floor aerobics or kick and punch moves along cross-training with weights, stability balls, and tubing. Each class will be fun and challenging and beneficial as well. ((Instructor – Patty Codromac)

WATER AEROBICS – A challenging workout, combining strength and some cardio training in our saltpure pool! Workouts vary from strength to cardio moves. Some classes include water games, partner training and each class utilizes the noodles and water dumbbells and of course you. A delightfully fun class for all ages. (Instructor – Patty Codromac)

WATER YOGA – The serentity of the water is the plus! A 30 to 45 minutes class in the shallow end of the pool using your traditional land yoga poses and stretches in the water. A wonderful way to end a stressful day in our therapeutic saltpure pool. (Instructor – Patty Codromac)


Summer

C.A.R.B. - Cardio, Agility, Resistance, Balance with the Stability Ball. This class incorporates movement w/the stability ball that is aerobic as well as core strength, from your shoulders to your feet. We use tubing, weights agility cones and light weights. Definitely an overall workout suitable for novice individual. (Instructor – Patty Codromac)

DANCE AEROBICS – An hour of floor aerobics with your traditional grapevines, mambos etc. Lots of fun, with music blends from the 70s, 80s and pop or funk. Back by popular demand. For the beg=intermediate member. This class also is a great cardio workout. (Instructor – Patty Codromac)


Year Round

T2B – A choreographed weight training class that works all your major muscle groups and is designed to get you in the best shape of your life. Recommended for the novice to the more athletic individual! (Instructor – Patty Codromac)

GENTLE YOGA – A gentle approach to create a strong flexible body and a calm, relaxed mind. This class will rejuvenate and refresh you as you release tension. This class is a beginning- Intermediate level. (Instructor – Marguerite Close)

STEP IT UP - An hour of step aerobics using basic step moves, mixing and adding choreography according to each member’s level. A class suited for members for their cardio workout. Lots of fun. (Instructor – Patty Codromac)

AM STRETCH - a 45 minute class designed to stretch out and move those tight muscles. A great class to increase your range of motion and limber up. A great beginning to your day whether you hit the weight room or begin your work day. (Instructor – Patty Codromac)


Specialty

AM BOOT CAMP – This is an intense course 2-days a week with exercise based on boot camp styled training. This will take place outside of The Club’s campus rain or shine. Be ready to work it!! (Instructor –Danielle Green)

ROCK YOUR BODY – This class is a full body weight training workout using, high repetitions with low weights. This class is an intense 45-minutes, to get your muscle rock hard. (Instructor – Danielle Green)

NUTRITIONAL BOOT CAMP – A six week course in a group setting to learn and track, a healthy diet, recipes, nutritional supplements, exercise for life, and stress Management. This is done through a combination of lectures and Power Point presentations. (Instructor – Danielle Green)


West Coast Dance Project

TAP DANCE – From true beginners to advanced there are various levels of tap classes available at The Club, offered by Angelene Flowers of West Coast Dance Project. a real variety of music is used and you’ll get a workout while you tap.

HIP-HOP DANCE – A fun and energetic workout to a decidedly contemporary style of music. Taught for all levels by Ashley Flowers of West Coast Dance Project.

JAZZ DANCE – From Broadway to Mono Way, this versatile class will have you moving to a wide variety of music and movement styles. Lots of fun, with a good stretch and overall workout. Taught by Ashley Flowers of West Coast Dance Project.
